The organisation brings together Australia's quantum leaders across industry, academia and the startup ecosystem to fundamentally shift the dial on the translation of quantum technologies and position Australia as a leader in the market.
Administered by the University of Sydney over an initial 3-year period, Quantum Australia is supported by a $18.4M grant from the Department of Industry, Science and Resources, with significant additional financial support from state governments and university partners.
A central team will be based in Sydney to support state and territory-based teams Nodes in NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, and the ACT.
These Nodes will reside within the other Quantum Australia's partner universities.
About the opportunity As the Ecosystem Developer and Marketing Lead (NSW) , you will report to the NSW-based Ecosystem Development Lead and collaborate closely with six Ecosystem Development Facilitators across the country to orchestrate a national network of programs, events, and resources.
Beyond strategy development you will be Quantum Australia's leading expert on effectively promoting opportunities, connections, and wins within the ecosystem to broaden the engagement and visibility of the ecosystem.
Your key responsibilities will be to: contribute to a collaborative and dynamic team environment reporting into the Ecosystem Development Lead provide marketing and communications leadership for the ecosystem development program across all Nodes lead NSW-focused communications through website updates, newsletter content contribution, social page updates and other channels design, develop, propose, and implement new initiatives to facilitate and support ecosystem growth across startups, corporates, and government for quantum technology awareness and enthusiasm nurture relationships of new and existing community members through high-value networks and connections proactively manage external engagement opportunities and support ecosystem development.
About you relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent relevant work experience demonstrated ability to establish and implement effective marketing and communications strategies to support business objectives ability to develop strategies to perceive and capitalise on new opportunities to find and grow industry and end-user partnerships to develop research proven ability to manage projects and to develop, plan and implement successful events demonstrated experience in developing networks, partnerships and collaborations across a range of stakeholders demonstrated ability to prioritise, plan and manage projects and events, with the capacity to maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
