Reporting to the Principal Economic Development, you will proactively manage the delivery of initiatives that support new and existing businesses, attract investment, support the development of tourism, while fostering sustainable growth and diversification of our nationally-important economy. You will be working in the powerhouse of Australia's economy, with the Port of Port Hedland supply chain responsible for 4% of Australia's Gross Domestic Product.To be successful in this position, you will be highly motivated, have excellent project management skills, including consultant supervision, and enjoy working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery of outcomes. Holding tertiary qualifications in commerce, economics, marketing, or related field, you will bring a strong understanding of sustainable local economic development.
