Full time - Permanent The Economic Development Engagement Coordinator will facilitate economic development outcomes for small towns and precincts within the Greater Shepparton region that are aligned with the Economic Development, Visitor Economy and Major Events (EDVE&ME) Strategy. The role will act as a conduit between small town business owners and the broader Council and facilitate positive change such as activation opportunities and other initiatives to attract foot traffic and prosperity to small towns and precincts.
The role will also be responsible for supporting local business within the municipality whilst also applying a dedicated effort towards the growth and development of multicultural and Indigenous businesses within the region.
The Economic Development Engagement Coordinator will play an important role in supporting business in relation to renewable energy opportunities and in addition coordinating the recently introduced Business Big Ideas Festival.
