Digital & Search Marketing (Marketing & Communications) Kiwi Artisan is an innovative, multi-channel consumer goods business focusing on high-quality specialty goods. As we continue our rapid online expansion, we are searching for an Ecommerce Manager / Growth Marketer to lead our ecommerce channel globally. This role offers the potential for progression to the Head of Ecommerce position as you demonstrate your impact and leadership capabilities. For the right person, this role offers the ability of working remotely in either Australia or New Zealand.
You will be responsible for optimising and scaling our ecommerce operations, sales and customer base across markets. You will also supervise and mentor the junior marketing and customer service teams, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and align with overall marketing goals.
We're looking for a hands-on leader who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive into the details when needed. As a growth marketer with both tactical and strategic expertise, you'll balance high-level decision-making with the ability to step in and execute, ensuring our ecommerce initiatives deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities: Ecommerce Platform Management: Lead the day-to-day operations of our ecommerce platforms (Shopify), ensuring seamless product management, content updates, and trade optimisation. Oversee junior team members responsible for implementing these tasks.Show Event to Online Calendar Execution: Plan and oversee the execution of our direct selling show calendar, ensuring promotional activities are launched on time and deliver high-impact results.Performance Monitoring: Analyse and monitor the performance of ecommerce platforms, identify areas for improvement, and drive optimisation across marketing channels to achieve sales targets and forecasts.Website Content & SEO Strategy: Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with the marketing calendar and communication plans while incorporating SEO best practices for visibility and growth.Sales Forecasting: Leverage historical data and market trends to create accurate sales forecasts, informing decision-making and growth strategies.Customer Experience Enhancement: Optimise the customer journey, from discovery to post-purchase, using A/B testing, user experience analysis, and customer journey mapping to boost engagement and satisfaction.CRO Testing & Reporting: Manage in-house conversion rate optimisation (CRO) testing, prioritise improvements, and report on performance to key stakeholders.Operational Integration: Ensure seamless integration of product information, inventory management, and order fulfilment with dispatch and delivery partners, working closely with the operations team.SEO & Paid Channels Growth: Implement best practice SEO initiatives in collaboration with the performance marketing team to drive organic growth, while also optimising paid channels for profitability.Web Analytics & Insights: Utilise tools like Google Analytics and Looker Studio to track website performance, provide insights, and guide data-driven decisions.Email Direct Marketing (EDM) Oversight: Oversee junior team members responsible for designing and delivering EDM campaigns through platforms such as Klaviyo.Social Media Supervision: Provide direction and oversight for the junior team managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) to ensure brand consistency and promotion alignment with ecommerce campaigns.Customer Service Oversight: Oversee the junior ecommerce customer service team, ensuring top-notch customer experience and seamless support throughout the buyer journey.About You: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.Ecommerce Expertise: 5+ years of proven experience in ecommerce management, ideally within the consumer goods or retail sectors.Platform Proficiency: Highly skilled in Shopify, Klaviyo, Canva and ideally customer service chatbot platforms like Gorgias.com.Supervisory Skills: Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members, ensuring alignment with broader ecommerce strategies.Data-Driven & Analytical: Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.UX & Web Design Understanding: Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles, web design, and best practices.Sales Forecasting: Demonstrated experience in developing accurate sales forecasts and applying data analysis to inform projections.Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams and projects.Innovative & Hands-On: A passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you manage multiple priorities effectively.Project Management: Experience in project management, with the ability to execute initiatives from ideation through to implementation.Attitudes We Align With: Driven: A self-starter with a strong desire to lead and achieve.Creative: Able to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions and ideas.Bold: Confident in making daring and impactful decisions.Passionate: Enthusiastic about delivering high-impact campaigns and partnerships.Results-Oriented: Focused on delivering high ROI and exceeding expectations.What We Offer: Competitive compensation of up to $130,000 including superannuation and bonus package.A vibrant and engaging work environment where creativity and innovation is at the heart of everything we do.Flexibility and travel opportunities: work remote, on the go, and travel between our operations in Australia, New Zealand, and the States.Continuous training and development opportunities – we're committed to helping you grow.The chance to work with high-profile clients and be a part of some of Australia's most exciting events.A fast-paced, collaborative culture where no two days are ever the same.Executive leadership and business partnership opportunities for the right person.Complementary Kiwi Artisan and partner brand products, with a discount code for family and friends.Why Kiwi Artisan?
