About The Role:
Responsible for the management and maintenance of the Glue website.
Deliver the digital strategy and provide a superior e-commerce experience.
Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Trade and Achieving Sales:
Drive online sales to help meet financial targets and profit budgets.
Trading the Online business to hit financial targets.
Review sales by week, day, and promotion to agree on future activity ahead of monthly projections.
Tracking sales performance to budget, forecast & LY by promotion and key web metrics.
Proactively identify tactical opportunities to drive trade & sales uplift.
Develop a strategic plan to increase traffic & convert online sales by channel.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and trade estimates as required.
Daily/Weekly/Monthly e-commerce sales reporting & analysis, providing actionable insights.
Understanding category performance and providing insights.
Produce ad-hoc reporting where necessary.
Monitor industry, online and mobile shopping trends, maintaining knowledge of competition and awareness of e-commerce opportunities.
Marketing & Content:
Implementation of digital and content marketing plan that delivers increased engagement and conversion rates.
Working with Marketing to develop and execute the trade marketing calendar.
Briefing all digital campaigns and content assets into the creative team and manage execution across the site and all relevant channels including Paid Marketing.
Ensuring content through all sites meets brand guidelines and is kept up to date in line with trade requirements.
Assist in execution of Email Marketing strategies with Digital Specialist, including content, personalisation, A/B testing, segmentation, re-engagement plans and driving the acquisition of new sign-ups.
Work with Digital Specialist to manage EDM schedule across all regions.
Build and deliver CMS Landing Pages for sale events, marketing campaigns and as required to enhance website UX and improve Organic performance.
Work in partnership with the Digital Marketing Agency to drive continued growth and profitability through Paid channels.
Ensure the SEO strategy is executed with the support of the eCommerce Coordinator.
Review and report on performance of digital campaigns to the broader business.
Lead and manage the merchandising strategy across all categories and brand collection pages.
Manage agency relationship with search and merch solution and seek out opportunities to improve results.
Drive sales & profit growth through product & merchandise strategies.
Work closely with Buying & Planning teams on strategies that optimise online product assortments in key trading periods.
Develop & drive strategic merchandising strategy onsite and ensure best practice methods are followed.
Support eCommerce Coordinator in the product enrichment process and ensure products are pushed live within 48 hours of stock arriving in the warehouse.
Ensure all elements of onsite promotions and key sale events are executed in line with trade plan and as per sale checklist and removed off site at promotion end.
Create a leading-edge analytical, test and learn culture, delivering elevated & optimised online experience.
Actively apply customer insights and business performance data to identify areas of opportunity.
Lead website updates and initiatives to constantly improve the customer journey and tactics to increase conversion, reduce bounce rate and cart abandonment.
Partner with external Agency to develop and execute a comprehensive CRO plan to improve customer experience and site usability to drive conversion increase.
Web Development:
Provide technical and testing support with responsive, problem-solving abilities.
Work with the Product Owner to support with external Dev Agency to ensure all site functions and processes are working correctly.
Working with Dev Agency to implement initiatives to drive growth of eCommerce business.
UAT and QA as required to ensure deployment requirements are met.
Approve/prioritise any changes and deployments before they go into development environment.
Working with the Product Owner and Digital Projects team to research and suggest new ideas for future web development.
Customer Experience:
Deliver on-brand, best-in-class online customer experience.
Apply a customer-centric approach to all work.
Work with Omnichannel team to optimise & implement new developments.
Working alongside Customer Service team to analyse customer insights and improve on-site experience.
Team:
Foster a MAKE IT HAPPEN culture.
Direct reports – E-commerce Coordinator, Digital Specialist.
Management of eCommerce team overseeing performance and delivery to ensure targets are met.
Encourage & motivate team to develop best practice, innovative, creative solutions and ideas.
Act as a mentor to develop team members and help develop professional and functional capabilities.
What we are looking for:
3-5 years experience in a similar role, preferably using Magento or Shopify.
Preferably footwear & apparel retail or wholesale background.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Can-do attitude, hands-on and responsive.
Able to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Highly self-driven with initiative to be hands-on to support the wider team.
Analytical skills experience with Google Analytics (or similar).
Highly organised with great communication skills.
