Details of the offer

$80,000 – $120,000 + Super Field bonus of 2 hrs extra pay per day when out in the field = very lucrative $105 – $135 extra per day. If you enjoy field work, this is a fantastic role to be rewarded even further for doing what you love.
The field work itself is diverse & is set up so you do 2x weeks at a time in the field just outside of Brisbane earning an extra $105 – $135 / day for your efforts.
Project Examples: 5 yr implementation program to establish and carry out research for a locally endangered bird.
Long term monitoring program.
Managing offset site, management and rehab sites. Loads of Offsets, Impact assessments through to rehab and mitigation stage – including long term monitoring Wind Farming – offsets and mgmt.
plans – bird and bat utilisation surveys. Transport and main roads projects – upgrade, more local work. Rehab program compliance monitoring (this particular one has complicated logistics & safety requirements ecologists are not normally exposed to). Lifestyle / Balance: You will be able to work a day or two from home.
Grads are full time in the office to maximise development.
Flexibility increases the more senior you become.
Plenty of staff however work from the office more regularly as they enjoy the people they work with & social aspect.
They support WFH, integrated phones, teams, surface pro's to link all together.
Socially you can expect events like golf, Christmas parties, afterwork drinks & more.
Experience: 2-5 years within Consulting or similar as an Ecologist. Flora/Fauna survey methodologies, field research & surveying, assessments, monitoring, analysis & implementation of plans. If you're interested in learning more about the above role, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
