Key Responsibilities Provide technical advice and quality services to staff and clients while completing delegated environmental projects as set by the Senior Ecologists, Environmental Manager or relevant Project Manager. Undertake environmental assessments, including flora and fauna field surveys, data collection, data analysis, and report writing. Conduct desktop studies, including database queries, mapping, interpretation and reporting. Collaborate with project team members and leaders. Assist with Fee Proposals, Environmental Impact Assessments and Project Reports. Qualifications Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Conservation Biology or related discipline. Ideally 2+ years' experience in a role of a similar capacity, however lesser or greater experience will be considered. Current driver licence (C Class). Required Experience Demonstrated experience in environmental fieldwork, with the ability to work safely in the field and autonomously in remote areas. The ability to undertake ecological field surveys as a member of the ecology team. Understanding of State and Commonwealth legislation as it applies to biodiversity impact assessment and offsetting. Proficient with information technology, including Q-GIS mapping. Hardworking team player, with an ability to balance multiple projects. Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and achieve set objectives. Meticulous attention to detail and pragmatic problem-solving to draw strong conclusions. Excellent written and verbal communication, with an ability to build rapport with colleagues.
