The Opportunity As an eBusiness Advisor in the SME team, you will work collaboratively across a national, energetic, fast-paced team to deliver premium service to our customers both internal and external. You will implement QBE Commercial Lines eBusiness initiatives with Intermediaries in a professional and timely manner and help create the right environment with the Sales & Relationship Management team to follow up with other business initiatives.
Your New Role A day in the role may look a bit like this:
Partner with the Sales & Relationship Management team to establish and maintain new and existing eBusiness initiatives into intermediary operations
Provide first line of support and training to Intermediaries on QBE Commercial Lines eBusiness initiatives and technologies
Identify training needs for Intermediary staff in conjunction with eBusiness initiatives and provide appropriate training
Follow up each implementation to ensure Intermediary staff understand and are utilizing the solution as intended
Analyze individual requirements to support the achievement of organizational goals and objectives
Collaborate with Product Specialists to provide technical expertise to stakeholders and Intermediaries on our range of offered electronic products
Communicate regularly with the Team Lead and stakeholders to keep them informed of any issues and opportunities with Intermediaries and resultant outcomes
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the design, implementation, and rollout of eBusiness applications
Undertake User Acceptance Testing of new QBE applications to be rolled out to intermediaries
About You To be successful as an eBusiness Advisor, you will have the following:
Experience in underwriting insurance products – preferably SME and/or Commercial
Experience in technical support using application software
Ability to deliver training to a wide variety of user groups, from novice to advanced
Ability to identify and anticipate client needs and work with them to meet their expectations
Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship building capabilities
Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and ability to deliver output with limited timeframes
Strong PC skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint & MS Project
