Councils include the Cities of Burnside, Campbelltown, Norwood Payneham & St Peters, Prospect, Unley, and the Town of Walkerville.The ERA Business and Economic Development Group is one portfolio group of ERA that has been established to work on regional priorities including providing enhanced support to local businesses.
Eastern Business Advisory was launched in March 2024 as a collaborative project by all ERA Councils to help address this need.Given the regional nature of the role, it will be based at Campbelltown as part of the hosting arrangements; however, it would be expected to proactively engage with the ERA Councils.About you and this position:Reporting to the chair of the ERA (Eastern Regional Alliance) Business and Economic Development Group and working with the representatives of each council in the portfolio group, this position will support the delivery of the Eastern Business Advisory service to businesses located within the ERA region.This will be achieved by:Supporting the marketing and promotion of the program to ERA businessesMonitoring and responding to requests for advisory services from ERA businessesLiaising with appointed Business Advisors to connect ERA businesses with suitable AdvisorsCollating data and reporting on the program quarterlyReferring local businesses into the business support ecosystemShowing a passion for helping businesses.As a successful candidate, you will have:Tertiary qualifications, or be working towards them, in either economics, commerce, marketing, business administration, communications and/or management and/or have relevant experience in the small business sector.Experience in marketing and promotion of a program for the business communityStrong verbal and written communication skillsHigh degree of proficiency in computer programs such as Word, Excel, Canva, Wix and social media platforms.Time management skills with the demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision.This part-time position is 15 hours per week (days flexible) and is classified as Level 3 under the Campbelltown Municipal Officers Staff Enterprise Agreement No.10, 2021 (and relevant Award) and is for a fixed-term period of 18 months.To be eligible to apply for this position, candidates will need to supply a copy of any qualifications/licences etc., complete a pre-employment medical and submit a police clearance.How to Apply:If this sounds like the job for you, click 'Apply Now.'Salary: $84,101.85 - $90,162.83 per annum (pro rata), plus superannuation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
