About the role - Operations and Maintenance Team Member Reuse
An exciting full-time ongoing opportunity is available for a motivated individual to join our Recycled Water Treatment Team.
The Operations & Maintenance Team Member – Reuse will assist in the delivery of proactive maintenance and operational project works within our recycled water properties (treatment plants and farms) so that asset performance and reliability objectives are achieved.
This role will also assist in the improvement in the operations and efficiency of networks to meet customer expectations and regulatory standards in the provision of wastewater and reuse services.
This role will include carrying out repair and minor works to water and wastewater assets, operation of equipment and machinery, working with contractors to deliver planned network projects and programs, as well as maintenance of assets and providing basic records on maintenance programs and asset condition.
About you

This role would suit a candidate with a unique blend of hands-on practical skills in mechanical maintenance, wastewater, or plant/equipment operations, as well as good general electrical knowledge and safety awareness.
A relevant trade-based certification or qualification is highly desirable.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Certificate III in Water Industry Operations or willing to complete it within 2 years of commencement.
Experience in operations and maintenance of assets, machinery, or specialist tools and equipment.
The ability to follow instructions and learn new skills quickly.
The ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, along with basic report writing and IT skills.
The ability to meet work targets and deadlines when carrying out manual maintenance programs.
A positive attitude towards personal development.
