About the Role We are looking for a Site Supervisor with a strong background in Earthworks for our project in Port Hedland working on a 2:1 roster. The Site Supervisors are responsible for overseeing and assisting all construction operations on site, as delegated by the Project Manager, to ensure its safe, effective, and efficient delivery. This will involve planning, preparing, monitoring, and reporting on the delivery of the works, labour, and subcontractors' performance.
The requirements of the roles are: Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will consist of, but not be limited to:
Managing the performance of direct labour and subcontractors. Providing coaching and mentoring as required to support their development.Establishing and maintaining relationships with our clients and key stakeholders.Interpret and apply compliance documentation to the relevant work activity to ensure specifications and project requirements are met.Identify and evaluate on site specific delivery risks and provide contingencies to be allowed for in the execution of our works.Forward planning of works and ensuring availability of materials and labour resources to meet programme deadlines.Demonstrate a commitment to onsite safety and environmental control by ensuring compliance with the companies safety policies and procedures and stopping unsafe/incorrect work practices whenever spotted.Skills and Experience: Preferably a minimum of 5 years' previous Leading Hand or Supervisory experience. Strong experience in Earthworks essential.Strong people management skills.Current Drivers Licence.Construction Industry White Card.Excellent communication skills.Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.Well organised and systematic.Strong supervisory and people management skills.Must be able to read and interpret plans/drawings and as constructed drawings.Hardworking, reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.What's in it for you & the benefit's of joining grounded.
