To secure this opportunity you will demonstrate:
Expertise in using specialised software for earthing design and analysis (e.g., ETAP, CDEGS) to create reliable, efficient, and compliant earthing systems. Experience in conducting site surveys, installing, and testing earthing systems, with the ability to identify and resolve issues on-site, ensuring correct system functionality and safety. A degree in Electrical Engineering (or mechatronics or equivalent), with a solid foundation in electrical principles, grounding techniques, and fault current analysis. Ability to analyse complex technical data, identify potential issues, and provide innovative, practical solutions to ensure optimal earthing system performance and safety. Have or be willing to learn national and international earthing standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, BS 7430), ensuring systems meet safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.
