Please see some of their job details below:Job Details/BenefitsEncouraging a work-life balance with flexible working arrangements such as working from home and flexible hours.Providing our staff with opportunities to undertake professional and personal development activities, in both technical and soft skills.Attending, presenting, and promoting the organisation's activities at relevant conferences is encouraged; however, excessive travel is not an expectation.A paid parental leave policy which is available to all staff.ResponsibilitiesProviding specialist scientific advice on Earth Observation and Remote Sensing applications with an emphasis on environmental monitoring and disaster resilience, water quality monitoring, and agricultural intelligence using in-situ, airborne, and space-based assets.Leading the scientific design and development of space missions and technology programs.Providing technical guidance on current EO and Remote Sensing projects.Providing guidance on mission architectural concepts against end-user requirements.Participating in the scientific review of the organisation's projects for the relevant area of expertise to ensure that these projects are scientifically and methodologically robust.Supporting the organisation's National and International engagement, business development, and collaborative project discussions relevant to EO and Remote Sensing.Minimum RequirementsA PhD in a relevant scientific and/or technical field.Experience in research project design for earth observation and remote sensing applications.Experience or familiarity with space mission requirements, design, and development.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with research leaders and researchers and to engage with a variety of key business stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.Demonstration of the Professional and Personal Attributes and Competencies described elsewhere in the Position Description document.Desired QualificationsExperience working in a Cooperative Research Centre.Demonstrated experience in scientific leadership of large and complex, multi-disciplinary earth observation and remote sensing research projects.When applying, state you found this job on Pangian.com Remote Network.#J-18808-Ljbffr
