About Holy Trinity Early Learning Centre (ELC)
We aim to provide all children with a learning environment that is play based, engaging, respectful and developmentally appropriate that will enable each child to begin their journey of being lifelong learners and responsible, compassionate global citizens. We are an authorised IB World school, implementing the Primary Years Program (PYP). Rated 'Exceeding', against the National Quality Standards, the Preschool offers a dedicated preschool program for 4 year old children, prior to entering Primary School.
Holy Trinity ELC is part of Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn (CECG) which operates 56 Catholic Systemic Schools and nine Early Learning Centres across ACT and NSW.
About the Role
The Early Childhood Educator collaborates closely with the Early Childhood Teacher and the ELC Director to create an enriching and supportive learning environment for young children. This role involves facilitating teaching and learning experiences that are engaging, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with educational frameworks. The Educator plays a vital role in building strong, nurturing relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a sense of trust and partnership within the community. By prioritising the safety, well-being, and individual needs of each child, the Early Childhood Educator helps ensure that children feel secure, valued, and empowered to develop a strong sense of identity, self-confidence, and belonging.
This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Qualifications
Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
Certificates in First Aid (HLTAID004) & Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) approved qualifications: Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care; or
Certificate III in Education Support (birth to 12); or
Certificate III in Children's Services.
Diploma-qualified applicants who hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care; or Diploma in Children's Services are also encouraged to apply.
