Part Time (23 hrs per fortnight working Thursday & Friday), ongoing role 3- to 4-year-old creative Kindergarten program located in Thornbury VECTEA pay rate + super + salary packaging About the role As a qualified ECT, you will support the overall operations of the service and lead, guide, and support a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children.
This includes:
Providing pedagogical leadership to the team to ensure the provision of a contemporary, quality and diverse educational program based on an approved curriculum framework. Ensure that children's agency, choice and influence are promoted, so that the programs meet the interests and abilities of each child. Provide leadership and be part of a large passionate professional team ensuring the provision of quality Early Childhood programs at the early learning service. Ensure partnerships are developed with families and in the community. Ongoing reflective practice, critical reflection and developing a positive professional team and organisational culture. Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood or equivalent Approved Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority qualification) VIT Registration Experience gained in Early Childhood Strong organisation and planning skills, including high attention to detail.
