Synopsis: INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport.
The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area.
Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million.

Early Childhood Teacher Hourly Rate: $34.02 to $58.96 (rate dependent on years of experience and validation level) Closing: Friday 29 November 2024 Part Time (37 hrs 30 min p/w) – Permanent Mooroopna Children and families Centre has an exciting opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher to lead a team in their three year old kindergarten program.
This role is 37 Hours 30 minutes per week, with allocated teaching and non-teaching time.
This role will commence in 2025.
This role is employed under the Early Education Employees Agreement 2020 (EEEA) which includes a 10 week leave model.
We are seeking a teacher capable of supporting our service in delivering a play-based education and care program.
This program aims to nurture children's confidence, foster a sense of belonging, cultivate a love of learning, and promote community connectedness.
The ideal candidate will create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment that facilitates a smooth transition for children from home to our service.
Our program places a strong emphasis on connecting with our local community, promoting sustainability, exploring the natural environment, and allowing children ample time for uninterrupted play.
*There is a Victorian Early Childhood Teacher Incentive program attached to this service, including Individual Incentives and Location incentives up to $21,000 to those eligible.
