The Role You will be responsible for monitoring the overall implementation of the approved learning framework to support the education and care needs of the children and support Educational Leaders across our central coast centres, through coaching and mentoring to support best practice.
You will: Grow and instil a lifelong love of learning in children through a curriculum combining play-based and intentional teaching.
Gain support and training in guiding children's behaviours.
Create child-led programs which respect the individuality of every child.
Support the educational team and centre management to meet and exceed the National Quality Standards.
Pay rate - $35-$52 per hour (negotiable) ?About you: Diploma or Bachelor is Early Education and Care or equivalent Minimum 3 years' experience in ECEC Experience motivating, mentoring and support Educators and Educational Leaders Strong Knowledge in Early Childhood Practice and Pedagogy Critical reflection skills Interpersonal and Communication Skills Comprehensive Knowledge of theories relating to Early Childhood.
Responsibilities Engage in induction, onboarding and ongoing mentoring, and coaching support for all new Educational Leaders in your area Regularly review the implementation and evaluation of educational programs and practices to ensure compliance with the approved learning framework and National Quality Standards, primarily Q1 Completes programming audits and encourage team to evaluate own practice Makes recommendations for improvements to educators' educational programs and practices and follows up on implementation of improvement strategies Monitors educators' communication of children's learning and participation with families through displays, written documentation and Storypark.
Arranges and participates in information sharing events with colleagues and families regarding pedagogical practice, learning frameworks and child development matters Conducts research and shares knowledge with teams Why work for Affinity?
