Learning Links are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to work in our Exceeding-Rated Preschool as a team leader. This role will demonstrate a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service to clients and staff including sharing skills and knowledge, responding positively to changing demands/priorities and communicating ongoing client information.

WWCC clearance.

We operate from 8am-4pm during school terms and provide a high-quality inclusive early childhood program catering for the individual needs of all children from 3 to 6 years and their families.
This role is a permanent full time role working – Monday to Friday and will work closely with our Manager of Early Education, Preschool leadership team, Preschool educators, therapists and broader organisational stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and implement an educational program that aligns with the EYLF principles and outcomes, fostering children's learning and development, in collaboration with other team leaders and the educational leader to ensure a consistent and high-quality approach.
Support children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development through intentional teaching within a play-based learning environment.
Build secure and respectful relationships with children, recognizing their individual needs and backgrounds, while also fostering strong connections with families, allied health professionals, and community members to support holistic development.
Create an inclusive environment that respects diversity, ensuring every child feels valued and supported.
Regularly assess children's learning, progress, and development using observations, learning stories, and portfolios.
Work closely with families, respecting their knowledge and experiences, and involving them in their child's learning.
Ensure the physical environment is safe, engaging, and supportive of all children's needs, promoting exploration and risk-taking within limits.
Support language, literacy, and communication development through meaningful interactions, stories, and play-based learning.
Continuously reflect on teaching practices and professional development to improve the quality of education and care.
Promote healthy eating, physical activity, and well-being among children, ensuring adherence to health and safety policies.
Attend 5 staff meetings a term after hours.
Attend professional development days.

About you
ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teacher Qualification (or studying towards ECT qualification).
Experience working as a team leader in an Early Childhood Setting.
Solid understanding of current early education and care legislation and regulations including the EYLF and NQS.
Current ACECQA approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma certificates.
Child safety is top priority for us, and we are a child safe organisation. You will be asked to undergo a NDIS Worker Screening Check/ Police check and Working with Children Check.
