$85,313 - $98,532 + up to 15.4% superannuation - ASC Grade 4 Canberra Fixed Term Full Time Exciting opportunity for an Early Childhood Educator to join the AIS Caretaker's Cottage Childcare Centre!
The AIS Caretaker's Cottage is a 48-place childcare facility located at the Australian Sports Commission in Bruce.
It has been established to provide high-quality care in an environment that is welcoming, nurturing and educational.
The Cottage has three playrooms and two separate playgrounds.
Ten full-time places are available for children aged 0 to 18 months, 15 places for children aged 18 months to three years and up to 23 places for children aged three to five years.

About You: We're looking for a passionate Early Childhood Educator who: Has completed or is currently working towards a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood).
Possesses a current Working with Vulnerable People card.
Is well-versed in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and demonstrates strong programming and planning abilities.
Values play-based learning and reflective practice.
Shows excellent communication and leadership skills.

Eligibility Applicants must be Australian citizens or hold permanent residency to be considered for employment with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC).
The ASC is dedicated to child safety as part of the Commonwealth Child Safety Framework.
As a Child Safe Organisation, the ASC plays a leadership role in advancing child safety within the sports sector.
Candidates selected for this position will be required to undertake screening processes and must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Working with Vulnerable People/Children card.
Additional information: The ASC operates under the Australian Sports Commission Act 1989 and is separate to the Public Service Act 1999.
The ASC accepts most leave liability and recognition of prior service if you are currently employed at a Commonwealth agency.
The merit pool created for this role may be used to fill future ongoing or fixed-term positions within 18 months of the original advertisement.
