2 Roles: 1 x Permanent Part time (FTE 0.59) and 1 x Fixed Term (FTE 0.39)EEEA KG 2.1 - KG 2.5 from $77,998 - $90,163 pro rata per annum, plus statutory superLocated at Djila-tjarriu KindergartenWe are looking for one permanent part-time FTE 0.59 (3 days) and one fixed term FTE 0.39 until 20/12/25 (5 days) to provide a high-quality educational program at the City of Ballarat's Djila-tjarriu Kindergarten.
The kindergarten teacher will ensure that the program is offered in accordance with the National Quality Framework, the Victorian Department of Education Kindergarten Funding Guidelines, the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, the City of Ballarat Children's Services Practice Guide for Educators, and all other relevant legislation and Council policies and procedures.

With a genuine interest in meeting the needs of children and their families, you will demonstrate an ability to lead a team of early years professionals with a holistic approach to the care, education, and development of children that reflects an awareness of the wellbeing of children in your care.
Your strong communication and relationship-building skills will see you foster and sustain partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders including parents, colleagues, and community members. You will have a natural ability to motivate and lead staff to achieve desired outcomes within parameters of the service, led by your confidence in leadership and dedication to best practice.
The successful applicant will hold a Bachelor of Education or equivalent in accordance with the National Quality Framework and the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
