$36/hour - $54.33/hour (depending on qualifications and experience) + educational leader allowance + super + salary packaging Salary packaging up to $18,550 (pay less tax) Permanent Part-time Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader working Monday to Thursday from 9:30am to 3:30pm (approximately) About the Opportunity
At Ermington Uniting Church Preschool, we help your child to develop a life-long love of learning and pave the way for your child's ongoing literacy, numeracy, problem-solving and language development that will ease their transition to 'big school', and far beyond. Within our warm and welcoming service, we provide stimulating indoor and outdoor environments and programs designed to inspire your child's desire to learn, embracing purposeful play and group activities that encourage their curiosity, confidence, creativity and self-expression.

What you'll be doing in this role
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will contribute to the planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection of the educational program for the children. You'll also provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework!

Your care work may include: Contribute to the development of programs which reflect the approved learning framework. Developing positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families and community. Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interest, strengths, and abilities. You'll guide and support educators to implement the program and philosophy for the children. Who we're looking for Bachelor Teaching / Early Childhood Education Minimum 2 years' experience working as an ECT (experience working as educational lead advantageous) A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework. Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLF Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members You'll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
