About The School Emmanuel Christian Community School is a co-educational K-12 school located in Perth's northern suburbs. The school opened in 1982 and now has an enrolment of around 700 students. The school's Vision and Mission can be found on the School website.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and committed early childhood teacher (or primary trained teacher with early childhood experience) to join our team.
The successful applicant is required to have the passion and the skills and knowledge necessary to provide a warm, safe, and stimulating learning environment through explicit teaching and play-based pedagogy.
We provide opportunities for growth through one-on-one mentoring and coaching with our knowledgeable and experienced Head of Early Learning as well as other professional development opportunities.
The position commences at the beginning of 2025.
The successful applicant will: actively demonstrate a commitment to promote the objectives and ethos of Christian Education as articulated in the Vision and Mission of the School be a Christian, belong to a church and called to this ministry proficiency in the Western Australian Curriculum, Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework demonstrate strong organisational and administrative skills demonstrate initiative, excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively Selection Criteria: Application of current early childhood pedagogy and best practice. Demonstrated record of achievement in fostering student development. Well-developed knowledge of literacy and numeracy teaching and learning in the early years. Responsive to the learning strengths and needs of students from diverse linguistic, cultural, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds. Demonstrates innovation and creativity in the learning environment. Enhance learning through effective use of ICT.
