Position: Lead Educator Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $73,000 to $74,000 plus superannuation per annum Location: Condon QLD 4815 Our client is seeking a Lead Educator who is responsible for leading the implementation of educational programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework, ensuring compliance with national quality standards and relevant legislation.

Summary of key duties and responsibilities: Program Development and Delivery : Design and deliver developmentally appropriate learning programs in alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework and in consultation with management.
Regularly evaluate and adjust programs to meet the evolving needs of children.
Compliance and Record-Keeping : Adhere to all relevant regulations, including the National Quality Framework, the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, Workplace Health and Safety Regulations, Fire and Evacuation Legislation, Family Assistance Law and delivery of Child Care Subsidy.
Maintain accurate and confidential records for each child, including developmental and health-related information.
Child and Family Engagement : Welcome children and families daily, fostering open communication.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, ensuring a supportive environment.
Work closely with individual children with specific needs, as may be required.
Health, Safety, and Hygiene : Supervise children consistently, ensuring their safety during all activities.
Follow hygiene and health protocols, including first aid and medication administration.
Environmental Management : Create safe and engaging physical environments for children's learning and play.
Promote sustainability and environmental awareness through hands-on activities.
Professional Development : Commit to ongoing professional learning and adhere to the Code of Ethics.
Participate in training and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Collaboration and Teamwork : Work collaboratively with staff to enhance learning outcomes and share best practices.
Supervise and guide less experienced staff, trainees, and volunteers.

Qualifications and Requirements: Relevant Diploma Qualification (Approved by ACECQA) Minimum of at least three (3) years of experience in relevant field.
Current First Aid Certificate (approved by ACECQA) Current CPR Certificate (approved by ACECQA) Current Anaphylaxis Training (approved by ACECQA) Current Emergency Asthma Management Training (approved by ACECQA) Current Working with Children Check as required under legislation Commitment to maintaining current knowledge and attend additional training as necessary.
