About the team
The Wind in the Willow's early childhood education centres provide high standards of education and care that exceed the National Quality Standards for children aged 0-5. Our children's services are based on a nationally recognised play-based curriculum and are delivered by a dedicated team of educators who are passionate about the quality of education and care they provide.
About the role
We are seeking early childhood educators, at all levels of experience, to provide homely, nurturing, flexible and affordable programmes that are safe and secure for the children and welcoming for the family. The role will contribute to a positive team work ethic reflective of Centre philosophy, policies, procedures and the ECA Code of Ethics.
About you
The successful candidate will hold:
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.Working with Children Check from Department for Child Protection & Family Support.All Town of Bassendean staff demonstrate our corporate values of community, respect, connection, adaptability and accountability. These roles offer the following:
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualified employees are paid $29.65 per hour.Diploma qualified employees are paid $33.67 per hour.Casual Employees are paid between $37.56 and $42.65 depending upon qualifications.The Town also offers up to 5% additional superannuation (conditions apply), 17.5% leave loading, free parking, ongoing training and professional development, and up to two additional leave days per calendar year.
Working Hours
Our team works on a rotating roster of the Centre's operational hours, 7.15am to 5.45pm. The Town of Bassendean supports employees having access to flexible working arrangements to help them manage work and life responsibilities.
