About the role: 2 temporary part-time contract positions are available from 31 January to 19 December 2025. A permanent position may become available in 2026.

An experienced educator to support a class team for 2 days per week Thursday and Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm. An educator with some experience to provide support across the centre Tuesday and Wednesday 9.00am to 3.00pm (Monday to Wednesday would also be considered). Additional hours and days would be available as required for both positions.

Hourly rate between $34 and $42 depending on the skills, qualifications, and relevant experience of the suitable candidate, plus superannuation.Generous programming times and supportive management which values professional development.The successful applicant will have: ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification.ACECQA approved First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training. ACECQA approved Child Protection qualification.Food safety training or willing to complete.Current NSW Working with Children Check. Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.A positive, flexible approach to work and professional learning.Dedication and commitment to supporting a high-quality, child focused and play based program for children.Willingness and ability to work with technology to enhance learning and teaching.Understanding of WHS requirements.Work rights to enable you to work in Australia.Key Responsibilities: Play an active role to ensure a high-quality early childhood education and care program is maintained within the preschool. Develop positive and caring relationships with children, families, staff and our community.Collaborate with the teaching team to create engaging learning experiences based on children's interests, ideas, strengths and abilities.Assist in the documentation of each child's learning journey.
