Tyndale is a preschool to Year 12 co-educational school located in Blacktown, Sydney. About the role Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed Educators to fulfil the casual or temporary part-time role of Early Childhood Educator in our Early Learning Centre (3-5 years).
The Tyndale Early Learning Centre is a Pre-school and Prep program with dedicated indoor and outdoor learning spaces for children aged three to five years, providing an environment that prepares them for their transition to kindergarten and beyond. The Centre is an integral part of the larger Tyndale Christian School community, which comprises more than 900 students in total.
Our Tyndale Early Learning Centre operates from 7:00am to 6:00pm, five days per week, 49 weeks of the year and operates under the National Quality Framework that governs Early Childhood Education and Care Services.
ResponsibilitiesHave obtained or are actively working towards a degree, diploma or certificate in early childhood education or a related field that is accredited by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).Have an ability to work collaboratively with other educators, administrators, and parents to create a positive learning environment for young children.Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and other stakeholders.Have a genuine passion for working with children.Have experience engaging in the documentation of children's learning.Possess a current first aid certificate, asthma and anaphylaxis training, and the completion of a recognised child protection course.Tyndale is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of children and young people. The successful applicant, therefore, will need to hold and maintain a valid NSW Working With Children Check in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 (NSW).
