About Us: Our client, a well-known private school in Adelaide, is seeking a Diploma qualified Early Learning Centre Educator.
Position Objective: As an Early Learning Centre (ELC) Educator, you will support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning programs. You will ensure exceptional care and developmental progress for each child in the ELC, maintaining effective communication with families and fostering a stimulating learning environment.
Key Responsibilities: Support teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate programs.Demonstrate flexibility in program delivery.Assess and monitor each child's progress, maintaining developmental records.Communicate effectively with families and maintain positive team relationships.Create a secure, stimulating learning environment.Ensure health and safety standards are met.Treat each child with dignity and respect.Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and contribute to improvements.Maintain resources and manage children's health records.Participate in meetings, conferences, and training.Uphold high hygiene standards and manage food handling as required.Ensure confidentiality and adherence to school policies and the National Quality Framework.Qualifications: Diploma of Children's Services, or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education.First Aid Certificate.Mandated Notification certificate.Skills and Knowledge: Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework.Knowledge of Reggio Emilia principles (desirable).Experience with Xplor software (desirable).Strong ICT skills and knowledge of food hygiene requirements.Must have a Working With Children Check (WWCC) or a current DCSI Clearance.Provide a Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse, and Neglect Certificate before commencement.Be prepared for early starts and late finishes.How to Apply: If you are passionate about early childhood education and eager to contribute to a dynamic and supportive learning environment, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
