Early Childhood Education – Service Leader
Salary: $73,565.44 per annum

An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced person to fill the full time permanent Service Leader position at the Arthur Dickmann Children's Centre. This position is responsible for ensuring the leadership structure continues to develop and progress, supporting the educators, children and families as an 'Exceeding' level early childhood service.
The centre's operational hours are 7:15am to 5:30pm, Monday – Friday, incorporating long day care & kindergarten programs for up to 100 children. The Arthur Dickmann Childcare Service has a long standing reputation for innovation in early childhood practices, including sustainability, reconciliation action plans and child/family inclusion and support.
Our service offers a welcoming and friendly space where educators, children and families have a strong feeling of belonging and community, featuring well-resourced spacious rooms with lots of natural light. The leadership team consists of Service Leader, 2IC and Administration Officer. All roles are office based. The educational leader role is integrated within second in charge position, supported by service leader. The service leader role works closely with our Early Years leadership team, who offer guidance in budgeting, staff recruitment and mentoring, professional development and networking.

Requirements for this position:

Minimum Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Current First Aid – HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
Current CPR – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check Card (WWCC)
Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations early childhood
