Early Childhood Coordinator - Pathways to Early Learning & Development (PELD) Position location: Bundaberg and outreach The Early Childhood Coordinator plays a vital role in our Pathways to Early Learning & Development (PELD) program, aimed at supporting families and children aged 0–7 years in Bundaberg, Wide Bay, and North Burnett regions. The Coordinator will be responsible for triage and intake processes, assigning caseloads, coordinating activities, and engaging with stakeholders to improve early childhood education experiences. This includes working directly with children and families to set tailored goals, running playgroups, and facilitating both onsite and home-based activities. This role involves supervising two Case Managers and requires adherence to child safety principles and relevant policies. It is a workplace-based role and cannot be achieved from home.
To make a difference in this role, you will have experience in the following: Establishing partnerships with schools and generating referrals from early childhood education providers, such as kindergartens and day cares. Conducting triage and intake assessments and collaboratively setting goals with children and families. Delivering programs that support child development, including playgroups and in-home activities.
