Training & Development (Human Resources & Recruitment)Full timeBand 5 - Salary range $104,284 - $147,238 per annum (plus super)An exciting opportunity exists in the TasNetworks Talent & Early Careers Team for an Early Careers Specialist.Located in Lenah Valley, this role has the amazing privilege and responsibility to deliver the suite of TasNetworks talent programs for Early Careers, including graduates and apprentices in addition to career break returners, trainees, and students.
Providing specialist advice across the business, the role is focused on bringing our talent programs to life whilst supporting team members through their careers journey with TasNetworks.The role is responsible for the development of structured talent pipelines through bespoke programs and initiatives.
There will be a need to understand and seek funding opportunities for our programs and participants leveraging procurement plans, quotations, and applications at both state and federal level.Success in this role will include strong two-way relationships with program participants, leaders, and key stakeholders with the ability to provide market insights and knowledge.
You will help drive the continuity of Diversity & Inclusion in all decision-making through our development of early talent into TasNetworks.About youWe are looking for a passionate people person with a drive for customer focus and continued improvement in our delivery of early careers programs.You will have demonstrated experience in a similar role with a preference for a person with history managing, coordinating, and administering talent programs.
We would love someone with previous experience in applying for and adhering to funding contracts and also reporting on performance.You will have strong organization and time-management skills, rounded out with an innate ability to collaborate and work with diverse leaders, trainers, and learners within our business.
Most of all, you will have a passion to see our early talent succeed and you will work with these amazing people to provide the best opportunity for success and to grow their careers.You will have a comprehensive understanding of the Vocational Education (VET) sector, ASQA standards, and the AQF.
