About Access Wellbeing Services (AWS) Access Wellbeing Services (AWS) is a social entrepreneurial division of Centrecare Incorporated.
Access Wellbeing Services (AWS) delivers Employee Assistance Programs and other wellbeing services to the highest standard, to a large range of organisations throughout Western Australia.
Our services include psychological counselling; critical incident response; mediation; manager support services; training; coaching and a range of HR consulting services.
The role Access Wellbeing Services (AWS) is currently recruiting an EAP Counsellor to provide a wide range of short-term counselling and psychological services to support individual wellbeing.
Services are delivered face-to-face, online or via telephone and include counselling, coaching, critical incident management, conflict management, psychological assessments, and training services to individual employees and to workplaces.
You  will be able to work across our Perth, Gosnells and Fremantle branches.
Providing EAP counselling, coaching, supervision and training.
Ability to work up to 2 evening shifts per week, 12pm until 8pm.
Provide counselling aimed at the early identification and/or resolution of both work and personal problems that may adversely affect performance.
Provide counselling within a time-limited context.
Provide support to deliver AWS training programs where required.
Arrange referrals to other services for clients requiring specialist and/or long-term support and interventions.
Provide onsite counselling support and critical incident response as required throughout WA.
Candidates require the ability to work flexibly across a range of programs and have high level time management and organisation skills.
Be available to be placed on the on-call roster.
What we are looking for Tertiary qualification in - Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or related Social Sciences with eligibility for membership of a relevant professional association.
Current AHPRA registration, ACA, AASW or PACFA membership Minimum 3 years' experience in the provision of supervised short-term counselling to a diverse client group An understanding of workplace and organisational dynamics and factors impacting upon people performance Experience within trauma informed interventions.
Demonstrated understanding of workplace intervention strategies including facilitated discussions and workplace behaviour coaching.
Capacity to travel to different locations and work independently.
Possesses a high level of administration, interpersonal and communication skills.
Current National Police Clearance Working with Childrens Card or willingness to obtain one.
