EA to Managing Director | Venture Capital PA, EA & Secretarial (Administration & Office Support)Act as an extension of the Managing Director in this entrepreneurial & high performing venture capital firm. Drive company outcomes through exceptional organisation and operational efficiencies acting as a strategic and trusted offsider to the MD.Your role will go beyond traditional Executive Assistant tasks, delving into the full scope of the MD's responsibilities and priorities to assist him as 'traffic controller' ensuring his time and availability is effectively spent in the highest priority places and all matters are actioned efficiently. Typical duties include: Extensive diary calendar managementInbox management – beyond clearing and scheduling, you will proactively respond and manage communication between internal and external stakeholders driving priorities and efficiencies.Ensuring the CEO is prepared for meetings by drafting agendas/briefing packs, documenting minutes/actions, and executing the required follow ups after meetingsOrganisation of internal functions and corporate eventsExtensive stakeholder management, across both internal and external stakeholders maintaining positive and proactive relationships, and communicating Business Strategy and initiatives to the wider businessAd hoc office coordination; ordering supplies, weekly team lunch etc.Skills / Experience Required EA experience supporting a busy, senior executive – ideally gained from Venture Capital, Private Equity or similar Financial Services industry. Alternatively, you may come from broader Professional Services.High level commercial acumen with the desire to have an impact in the broader business.Proven ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environmentAdaptable to change and the ability to identify areas for improvement across the businessA collaborative approach and 'hands on' attitude to chip in an help the broader team, no matter how 'small' the task may seem.Strong critical and forward thinking skillsWhat's in it for you?Work for a firm that value their employees and empower you to further expand your career.
