Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) is the principal contractor for Snowy Hydro's Snowy 2.0, Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. We bring the combined engineering expertise of three companies - Italy's Webuild (formerly Salini Impregilo), Australian-based Clough, and US-based Lane Construction.
Purpose of the Role: Provide assistance to the E&M Subcontract Lead in the contractual management and administration to ensure risks are minimized and best outcomes for FGJV are achieved.
Qualifications: White CardRelevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant experienceExperience: Comprehensive knowledge of the commercial management and governance requirements of major infrastructure projectsExperience with estimation of E&M worksMinimum 5 years' experience in contracts administration of E&M worksWell-developed knowledge of the principles and practices of contract and commercial/finance managementAbility to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high attention to detailAbility to plan and organize workload appropriately, combined with a willingness to undertake routine tasksSound interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationshipsAbility to understand and articulate contractual rights and positionsProven ability to organize and prioritize tasks, be flexible and resourceful, proactive and professional in manner with a high degree of self-motivationStrong initiative and proactive natureExceptional written and verbal communication skillsWell-developed time management skillsHigh attention to detailExceptional knowledge and ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointCore Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Manage subcontract progress payment claims, variations, contractual claims, and final accounts in accordance with the terms of subcontractsManage contractual claims and final accounts, ensuring timely paymentManage contractual issues associated with clients/subcontractors/suppliers and provide advice to delivery and management teams on contractual issuesAssist the E&M Subcontract Manager in the preparation of monthly reports, correspondence registers, and other registersManage the compilation and collation of cost-related information and reportsAnalyze financial and cost reports, identifying existing or potential variances/trends, providing recommendations as appropriate for agreement with the DepartmentOversee the target cost estimate process for the project, confirming that the rail team procedures are adhered to, and that value for money is being achieved. #J-18808-Ljbffr
