About the role: UGL are seeking an experienced E&I Work Pack Engineer to join our team on an ongoing basis working on a major Oil & Gas project.
Commencing ASAP, you will be working a 5/2 roster within Perth CBD, point of hire is Perth, WA.
There is possibility to move to a site-based role in Q1 2025 for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities: Work Pack Development: Analyse schedules, 3D models, MTO data, specifications, procedures, and technical drawings to create thorough Work Packs and Job Cards that meet UGL & Client standards.
Tracking & Reporting: Monitor work pack progress, maintaining accurate status updates, manage change and collaborating with document control.
Effective Communication & Coordination: Liaise with project stakeholders to clearly communicate work pack scope and lead constructability reviews.
Delivering Technical Support: Address engineering technical queries during key project phases.
Engineering Systems Development: Support the creation and management of on-site engineering control systems, ensuring user procedures, processes, and forms are efficient.
Problem-Solving & Performance Escalation: Swiftly address system performance or delivery issues to keep the project on track.
Collaborative Networking: Build and sustain valuable relationships with internal teams and clients.
Adaptability in Project Controls: Support evolving project activities and outputs during execution.
Safety & Compliance Focus: Champion safety, adhere to regulations, and promote compliance with all relevant State and Federal standards.
About you: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical) E&I Construction Experience Commissioning and systems completion experience E&I systems highly regarded 5+ Years Experience in Oil & Gas or related industries Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
High level proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Excel including complex data manipulation and analysis.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
