About the role We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation technician to operate and maintain gas facilities and pipelines. This position will be based at our Hume depot.
We need you to assist in playing an integral part of the operations and maintenance team. In reward for your effort, you will receive fantastic remuneration and will be working on state-of-the-art facilities and pipelines across multiple assets throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities include This role will be responsible for carrying out operations maintenance activities to pipelines, compressor/processing facilities and receiving/regulating stations, including:
Responding to incidents and emergenciesExperience in the operation and maintenance of gas engines and reciprocating compressorsOperation and maintenance of high-pressure natural gas equipment and gas quality monitoring equipmentMaintenance of electronic measurement instruments, valves, and other mechanical equipment associated with gas transmissionPatrol and maintenance of the pipeline right of wayLiaison work with landholders and public authoritiesA wide variety of pipeline duties including mechanical work, documentation, and records maintenanceAbout You The successful candidate will have a trade qualification (electrical, instrumentation, or equivalent) with proven experience working as a member of an Operations and Maintenance team.
