About the role WorkPac is seeking an E&I Project Coordinator for the CLAHDO Project at Cape Lambert.
The role involves managing contracting partners and site teams, ensuring compliance with Rio Tinto standards, and overseeing project execution, QA/QC, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities Effectively manage the implementation of the project on site.
Coordinate multiple contracting partners and site teams to ensure planned and fluent project execution.
Support the Construction Lead and Project Engineers in overseeing contractor site reporting elements such as cost, quality, schedule, site delivery, and safety.
Collaborate with Project Advisors to ensure all site construction activities comply with and are delivered to Rio Tinto standards.
Identify potential schedule impacts and implement strategies for schedule realignment.
Identify opportunities for improvement during project delivery.
Assist the Project QA/QC team in identifying deviations from standards/specifications and verify Inspection Test Reports (ITR) and Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
Compile punch lists prior to commissioning.
Liaise with the Contractor and Operations during the commissioning phase.
Verify contractor day sheets/timesheets.
Prepare daily site logs and handover reports.
Attend Operations' daily update meetings during shutdown periods.
Skills and Experience Required Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Proven experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary projects (building, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, civil, and earthworks).
Experience in building fabrication and construction within a brownfield environment.
Familiarity with Rio Tinto processes and systems, particularly in Project Delivery teams.
Strong focus on health and safety, quality assurance, and environmental compliance.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
