We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for leading and delivering cutting-edge e-commerce solutions for our diverse clients within the retail sector. Your expertise will be key in defining project scopes, ensuring that all projects are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner, while upholding the highest quality standards.
As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in resource management, ensuring that the right people are assigned to the right tasks and that workloads are balanced effectively. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring a smooth project workflow.
Exceptional communication skills are a must for this role, as you will be the main point of contact for clients at all levels within the organisation. You should be able to effectively communicate project updates, address any concerns or queries, and provide strategic guidance to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project duration.
This role will involve leading high-profile projects that typically span from 6 months to 1 year and have budgets surpassing $2 million. Therefore, prior experience in successfully managing similar projects is essential. Your experience in overseeing complex projects with multiple stakeholders will be invaluable in ensuring the success of our projects and meeting the expectations of our clients.
Responsibilities include: Effectively manage all aspects of the project, including project plan, schedule, resources, task assignments, scope, budget, and risks. Collaborate with business sponsors, peers, and other stakeholders to develop and evaluate project proposals. Establish project objectives. Initiate project initiatives. Lead project planning activities and define project scope. Address staffing requirements, if necessary. Create project schedules and identify risks and issues. Create contingency plans. Facilitate the project kick-off with project team members and relevant stakeholders. Provide project stakeholders with regular updates on schedule, budget, and delivery progress. Facilitate project meetings to report status, resolve issues, and gather feedback. Promote open communication within the team regarding project planning and execution. Maintain project management deliverables. Demonstrated history of successfully implementing end-to-end system solutions, with a focus on eCommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, and Hybris Client-facing experience, or a proven ability and attitude to thrive in a client-facing role Experience managing large-scale projects throughout the entire SDLC, with a budget of $2m or more Previous experience in the retail industry would be highly advantageous Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies Certification in Scrum or Prince 2 Familiarity with at least one eCommerce platform such as Magento, Hybris, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or Shopify+ Experience utilising collaboration and project management tools like Jira, Confluence, smart-sheets, and the MS Suite Flexible working hours.
