Operations Manager - Disability Services The Operations Manager in the disability sector is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of disability support services, while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards.
This position champions the delivery of exceptional customer outcomes and spearheads the effective management of services, ensuring sustainable success. Responsibilities include actively supporting staff and participants in a high-quality environment while meticulously managing documentation on systems like Brevity Care to ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
Service Delivery Management: Oversee the delivery of disability support services, ensuring they meet or exceed quality standards and are aligned with client-centric goals. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure services comply with the National Standards for Disability Services and NDIS guidelines. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes. Leadership and Staff Development: Lead, mentor, and supervise staff, promoting a culture of growth and best practices. Oversee staff training, particularly in the use of administrative systems. Financial and Operational Oversight: Manage service delivery performance against budgets. Oversee financial aspects including budgeting and resource allocation. Strategic Planning: Develop operational strategies that support business objectives and client outcomes, focusing on service innovation and efficiency. Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with stakeholders to enhance service delivery and community integration. Operational Improvements: Identify and implement process improvements, including technology adoption for better service management. Documentation Oversight: Oversee the use of the Brevity Care system or similar documentation platforms to ensure all client records, staff schedules, and service delivery notes are accurate and compliant with privacy laws.
Data Integrity: Ensure data entered into administrative systems is correct, timely, and secure, performing regular audits and updates.
Reporting: Generate and analyze reports from the administrative system to inform decision-making and compliance reporting. Assist with internal/external audits, ensuring all relevant tasks and documentation are organized for reviews.
