Job Description
How you'll be making an impact in people's lives:
As a DVA Consultant, you will play a vital role in the provision of rehabilitation services for our DVA portfolio. You will help to build better lives for Australia Veterans through a whole of person rehabilitation approach.
As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:
Case management of DVA files within medical, psychosocial and vocational rehabilitation
Managing DVA files within the DVA legislative framework
Liaising with clients, their families and medical providers to assist veterans transition to civilian life.
Qualifications
What you'll bring to the role:
Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counsellor and Physiotherapy
Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers licence compulsory)
Sound knowledge of DVA files and legislation
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
