Veterans Compensation Association was founded by two ex-serving ADF Members who identified a need to simplify and assist Veterans in navigating the DVA system.
Our mission is to support every ADF Veteran with their entitlements and streamline the claims process.
We are looking for more highly dedicated self-disciplined advocates to best support our ADF Veterans.
The role in summary: As a DVA Advocate with our Veteran Support Services team, you will play a crucial role in assisting Australian veterans with their government claims and advocating on their behalf within the DVA system.

Be rewarded via a generous commission structure designed to recognise and reward going above and beyondFantastic opportunities for ongoing training and developmentRegular small team events/functionsPassionate and supportive team cultureMake a tangible, meaningful impact on the veteran communityDaily responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Submitting and uploading documentsCollaborating with other members of the Veteran Support Services team to coordinate assistance and resources for veterans and their familiesAssisting veterans with preparing and submitting claims for compensation, pensions, healthcare, rehabilitation, and other support servicesManaging/maintaining client relationshipsReplying to emails, and answering phone callsLiaising with DVA on the Veteran's behalfMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to veterans' entitlements and benefitsThe ideal candidate: Ex-serving ADF members preferredATDP training is preferred, not requiredUnderstanding of basic Microsoft and Google applicationsFamiliar with DVA SOP'sHealth/public health experience is favourablePersonable, empathetic, and dedicatedHigh degree of verbal/written communication skills is essentialIf you are passionate about supporting Australian veterans and are looking for a fulfilling career where you can make a real difference, we want to hear from you!
