Duty Technician- Part Time

Company Description Why work for Accor? The position is based in Accor's flagship Canberra hotel, Novotel Canberra conveniently based in the city centre opposite the light rail. We are a 286-room hotel with 8 conferencing and event facilities hosting all events from Corporate groups to sports teams. Bring your 'can do' attitude to this established and experienced hotel engineering team as a  Duty Technician , at Novotel Canberra. In this role you will: •  Ensure all guest maintenance requests are resolved quickly and professionally •  General repairs and maintenance; (Basic plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning service and repairs) •   Complete tasks as part of preventative maintenance program •    Work closely within a supportive and experienced engineering team in an exciting hotel environment Qualifications Successful candidates will: •   Be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised •   Be keen to learn and grow within the business •   Be flexible and available across 7 day rotating roster (penalty rates apply) Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. We will also train the right candidate who is keen to learn, work and grow! Additional Information This is a part-time position with 3 days/week (24hours), preferably Wednesday- Friday, flexible with days of work for right candidate.
