Duty Technician

Job Description We have an opportunity for an experienced Duty Technician.
This varied role requires you to work on special projects, installations, maintain the building, plant & equipment, fixtures & fittings throughout the Hotel to the required standard.
You will ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors and employees.
The successful applicant will be responsible for: Undertaking general repairs and maintenance as well as preventative maintenance programs throughout the Hotel.
This includes basic plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning service and repairs.
Servicing of plant and general equipment as directed.
Ensuring all painted areas are maintained and in good order.
Performing duties relevant to experience and trade as applicable and also perform other maintenance related tasks as required.
Assisting other team members in the completion of their duties.
Qualifications Experience in general maintenance and repairs (within a hotel environment highly regarded)   High level of knowledge in maintenance procedures with a focus on safety   Demonstrated ability to work in some or all following areas: plumbing, general electrical, refrigeration, use of power tools, air conditioning, door lock systems, painting, carpentry, and general furniture repairs  Excellent customer service skills including fluent written and spoken English The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts and on weekends  Additional Information We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
