About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Duty Technician to join our maintenance team at RACV Royal Pines Resort. This is a full-time role, 38 hours per week, Wednesday - Sunday 2pm-10pm.
Key Responsibilities
Perform repairs and maintenance to guest rooms, plant rooms, refrigeration equipment, air conditioning plant, electrical, water and gas consumption, energy management, water treatment, steam & water boilers and kitchen equipment.
Proactively identify maintenance issues and assess property conditions.
Carry out preventative maintenance program and assist with engineering tasks and projects.
Provide a high quality service to guests.
Build strong relationships with team members, departments and contractors.
Ensure a safe workplace is maintained and that health, safety and environment issues are pro-actively managed according to RACV policy and process.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
Previous building maintenance experience in a hotel/resort or similar workplace environment.
Knowledge of facility maintenance service and general building and equipment maintenance, building services such as HVAC, essential services, aquatics (pools), building management systems and computer usage, essential.
Valid driver's licence, essential.
Trade qualification desirable, however not essential.
Computer skills in MS Office.
Possess attention to detail, use initiative and possess strong time management and problem-solving skills.
Work well with contractors and in a team environment.
Clear communication skills providing guests with a high standard of customer service.
Perform physical and manual handling duties.
Excellent personal presentation.
