The Langham, Gold Coast has an opportunity for a dedicated and customer-focused Duty Technician / Handyperson to join our friendly Engineering Team and help us establish the Property as the market leader and contribute to our luxury service culture.
About the Role
As our Duty Technician you will support the day-to-day maintenance operations of the Engineering Team and respond to guest requests in a hands-on capacity to ensure any maintenance tasks and objectives are completed to maintain The Property and Hotel Operations in an optimum and efficient manner.
As our Duty Technician you will perform assigned duties related to the repair and maintenance of The Property plant, equipment and machinery, including mechanical, hydraulic and other services, and to carry out repairs and maintenance to fixtures and fittings in public areas and guest rooms as required, maintaining the hotel at a very high standard.
As both an experienced handyperson and customer service professional, our Duty Technicians support the Director of Engineering and wider Hotel Team to ensure The Property meets required standards and our Brand Specifications and deliver exceptional service to our guests and internal colleagues.
About You
To be successful in the role you will have at least two years' experience in the same position at a luxury environment and proven experience supporting engineering teams. Other key attributes we are looking for include:
