We are seeking passionate community minded individuals to join the team in a brand-new aquatic centre in the Clarence Valley.
As the Duty Supervisor you will be a key point of contact at the Centre ensuring a safe, clean, tidy and well-maintained aquatic centre consistent with legislative, health & safety regulations.
Key responsibilities include: Oversee the daily operations of the Aquatic Centre on allocated shifts including kiosk and reception, pools and lifeguarding, water quality and facility maintenance.
Have demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire the team, make good decisions based on evidence and act decisively.
Perform active lifeguarding and provide duty supervision of staff ensuring an adequate level of supervision is always maintained.
Administer first aid and emergency response as required.
Be present around the Centre and satisfactorily address any customer complaints and rostering requirements/schedules.
Assist in the maintenance of pool hygiene and water quality in accordance with legislative requirements.
Undertake a variety of administrative tasks associated with the day to day running of the facility in accordance with centre procedures.
Essential: Current Drivers Licence Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR) Current Working with Children Check Demonstrated experience in the supervision and management of staff in an aquatic environment Minimum 2 years demonstrated lifeguard experience Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations Demonstrated organisation and communications skills Will be required to work mornings, evenings and weekend work as rostered If this sounds like you, APPLY NOW or contact Neva Niland for more information on (02) 6691 9101 or email: ******
