'Snappers' is a smart casual restaurant/bar, located in the beautiful Darwin Waterfront precinct, open 7 days a week. We showcase local, ethical produce, focused on our amazing local seafood and native ingredients. Our beverage program is a tight 60 wine list of 100% Aussie products, a spirit range of around 220 and we produce our own gin, Good Spirits Distilling Co.
The right candidate is ready to guide our skilled team to new levels, genuinely cares about the customer experience and the importance of their team and training, in creating this customer experience in a busy environment. Culture is critical to us.
Key responsibilities:
Leading front-of-house and back-of-house teams Ensuring all Restaurant processes are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way Helping to ensure the organisation's processes remain legally compliant Streamlining operations to ensure systems, policies and processes are being adhered to Ensure the team is working around our 3 pillars of: Attitude Effort Process Handling team conflicts Hiring, onboarding and development of all team members Ensuring and measuring guest satisfaction Rostering in line with budgets and fair and equitable for team members Inventory management Communicating with accounts Exceeding guests' expectations every time Desirable skills:
Ability to resolve conflicts calmly Experience working with a bookkeeper Leadership skills Customer service skills Previous hiring experience Ability to work well under pressure Excellent communication skills Ability to present innovative ideas to Operations Manager/ Director If this sounds like you - or someone you know - don't hesitate to apply!
