Join our team as Duty Manager at Souths Sports Club on a 12-month maternity leave contract.
The Duty Manager reports to our Venue Manager and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the Club, including roster scheduling, leadership of the team and most importantly, ensuring we provide an exceptional member and guest experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our growing team, whilst expanding on your existing hospitality leadership experience.
A few of your responsibilities will include:Leading and supervising a team across multiple departments including café, bistro, bar and gaming ensuring service standards are maintained at a high levelOnboarding, training, and ongoing development of team membersAssist with rostering and sourcing replacement team members as required and directed by the Venue ManagerEnsure compliance with regulatory guidelinesWhat we are looking for:Possession of Responsible Manager of Licensed Venue (RMLV), Queensland RSA & RSGOutstanding interpersonal and organisational skillsCompetent computer skills and experience in rostering for a hospitality venueLeadership experience and ability to lead from the front and be hands-on if requiredAbout YouYou will be an experienced leader with passion for leading a strong team.
You will also have experience ensuring compliance across our club and recommend opportunities to improve our current practices.
Your drive to deliver a consistent high level of customer experience will be the key to your success and overall success of our venue.
You will be able to contribute to the continued success of Souths Sports Club.
