As a Duty Manager at Binna Burra Mountain Lodge, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of this iconic Gold Coast QLD accommodation and hospitality venue.What you'll be doingSupervising the front desk, concierge and housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional customer serviceHandling guest inquiries, check-ins and check-outs, and resolving any issues or complaintsMonitoring occupancy levels and room availability, and optimising staffing to meet demandSupporting the management team with reporting, budgeting and other administrative tasksAssisting with event coordination and special guest requests as neededReporting to the General Manager daily.Assisting in the management of wages and adhering to budgeted targetsLiaising with events coordinator & helping manage food and beverage events.Management of all staff and service delivery.Responsible for cash management and securities.Developing strong and productive relationships with members, customers & staff.Ensuring compliance with legislation's and regulations for OLGR, WHS.Workplace Health & Safety responsibilities.Handling all customer queries and grievances.Upholding and enforcing company policies.Ongoing training of team members including new recruits.What we're looking forAt least two years' experience in a Duty Manager or Assistant Manager role within the hospitality industryProven track record of providing outstanding customer service and managing high-performing teamsExcellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skillsFlexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to meet the needs of the businessPassion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering memorable guest experiencesRelevant Qualification in HospitalityRSA, RMLV competency are essential.Effective time management and organisational skills.Must possess strong communication skills.Immaculate personal presentation.Proven ability in managing, developing and guiding staff.What we offerComprehensive training and development programsDiscounted accommodation and diningSupportive and inclusive company cultureAbout usBinna Burra Mountain Lodge is a renowned eco-tourism destination nestled in the Gold Coast hinterland.
