The Role This role combines the best of leadership and club operations management and oversees operations across the entire club including Gaming, Cash Management, Stores, Concierge and Food and Beverage.
This role works across a fixed 4-week rotating roster, that provides you regular 4-day weeks to help you combine the best of work and life.
The purpose of this role is to: Provide leadership, direction and support our teams to ensure the highest levels of customer service are being delivered Manage the daily operations of the Club including core priorities, events, projects, site works and resourcing requirements Provide coaching, development, and performance feedback to employees including managing performance concerns Provide insight into fluctuations in wages, wastage, stock and other cost contributors Monitor and respond to service levels - received goods, response times, service quality, food production – and assist where appropriate Implement and champion change as part of a progressive and evolving organisation Conflict management and management of complex operational issues Your Benefits By joining our team, you will be making a difference in the Port Macquarie community from your first day, however additional benefits include: FREE espresso coffee and soft drink in our team lounge $200 contribution towards your fitness membership annually 30% off food in our venue (including when you bring your family) Ongoing training and development You would be part of a larger group of Club's which provides established career pathways that has seen previous team members grow to become General Managers within our organisation $1,500 per year in scholarships for additional education you wish to undertake.
About you To be considered for this role you will have: At least 12 months experience managing a team of people within the hospitality industry or within operational leadership Confidence to work independently and think on your feet to resolve issues and manage tricky situations Exceptional experience in communicating with both customers and team members and be able to demonstrate the ability to have the 'difficult conversation' General knowledge & experience of Club operations and guiding legislation preferred but not essential Flexibility and availability across the operating hours of the Club Current RSA and RCG certificates If you're ready to join a great organisation who truly values its people and help us create memorable experiences for the local community, then we want to hear from you.
