Job Description Novotel Perth Murray Street is in the centre of Perth CBD, offering 431 hotel rooms which appeal to a cross-section of business and leisure travellers. It has an Asian food offering in its onsite restaurant, Miss Mi, and is also a leading conference and function destination, with state-of-the-art facilities.
The Hotel Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the hotel operation in the absence of management with particular emphasis on assisting with the operations of Front Office, enhancing the guest experience through supervision and support to all team members, and monitoring hotel security.
Our Duty Manager will have direct responsibility for:
Managing the guest experience, from arrival through to departureUndertaking check-ins and check-outs of guestsReservations, quality checks, up-sellingRooms inventory managementManagement of guest and travel agent accountsConcierge and hotel information assistanceTraining and supporting a small, energetic reception teamDelivering memorable experiences and providing incredible, extraordinary customer serviceAssisting the team in the restaurant or elsewhere as requiredQualifications Essential requirements for this key role include:
Reception and concierge experienceOpera PMS knowledge, across Microsoft programsGreat communication skills, solution-focused approachImpeccable grooming and personal presentation standardsA passion for hospitality, guest satisfaction, and successDuty Manager expertise is preferredApproved Manager License is essentialFirst Aid Certificate is an advantageAdditional Information Why work for Accor?
